Simply Delicious Low Syn Spiced Mulled Wine a Christmas Wonder
There’s no wonder why Mulled Wine is a Christmas favourite tipple in our household, much like the flavours of a summertime ice-cold Spanish sangria. Warm mulled wine is really just red wine that is slightly sweetened, flavoured with citrus, lightly spiced and, usually, finished with a spirit or liqueur.
The heat enables the flavours from the citrus and the spices to develop as well as reducing the alcohol content, hence the slug of spirit just before serving!
Now I’ve been know to enjoy the old spiced rum which, through trail and extensive testing I’ve settled on this recipe and being my absolute favourite Spiced Mulled Wine Combo.
