- 200ml Almond Milk2 syns
- 50g Cocoa Powder8 syns
- 3.5 tbsp 0% Cal Sweetener1.5 syns
- 175g Quark
- 175g Fat Free Greek Yogurt
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tsp Maple Syrup1 syns
- Optional Dark Cooking Chocolate
The need for something chocolatey can be overwhelming at time and we turn into depraved savagers on the prowl for that smooth chocolate comfort. Okay maybe its just me!
This Low Syn Chocolate sweet treat is ideal for a quick fix.
Put the almond milk, cocoa powder & sweetener into a non-stick saucepan over a medium-high heat
Bring to a simmer while whisking continuously for 5 minutes or until you have a thick, custard like sauce.
Remove from the heat and leave to cool for 2-3 minutes, stirring now and then to prevent a skin from forming.
Mix 2 tbsp quark and 2 tbsp greek yoghurt into a small bowl, set aside.
Whisk the rest of the quark and yoghurt together with the vanilla extract and maple syrup in a mixing bowl whisk the cocoa until mixture smooth.
Spoon the cocoa mix into teacups or small pots and top with dollops of the reserved quark and yoghurt mixture.
Dust with 1/2 a tsp of cocoa powder and pop a raspberry on to serve.
