Ingredients
- 750g Stewing Beef - LeanRemove Fat
- 2 Chopped Onion
- 450g CarrotsPeeled and Roughly Chopped
- 1 Tbsp Plain Flour
- To Taste Salt & Pepper
- 200ml Beef StockHot
- 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 400g Baked Beans
- 2 Bay Leaf
- 600g PotatoesPeeled and Thinly Sliced

This Low Syn Beef and Bean Hot-Pot Bake is traditional comfort food at it’s best. It reminds me of my nan who would always put Baked Beans on a roast, love it or hate it, I love it 🙂

Steps
1 Done | Pre-heat the oven to 180C Gas Mark 4 |
2 Done | Place beef, onions, carrots and flour in a baking dish, season and toss to mix well. |
3 Done | Pour in the boiling hot stock then add Worcestershire sauce, baked beans and bay leaves. Stir to mix well and arrange the sliced potatoes on top of the mixture. |
4 Done | Cover with foil then place in the oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until the potatoes are cooked and tender. |
5 Done | Remove the foil, then turn the oven up to brown the potatoes, or finish under the grill for 5-9 minutes. |
