- 2 tsp Low Fat Spread

These Low Syn Chocolate & Pear Brownies are Inspired by our Slimming World journey! At ONLY 4 Syns per serving these brownies are a real treat for that sweet tooth.
Ideal to make and enjoy in an evening when temptation creeps in. Rich and opulent chocolatey goodness, slimsparation dieting for the nation.
Pear a deliciously sweet speed free food, when selecting your pears opt for smaller pears the better, no reason other than visually looking better. You can add a side serving of pear to your plate for that extra filling power.
Your Oven will need to be preheated to 180 C Fan or 160 C Gas Mark 4
Line the base and sides of a loose bottom tin with non-stick baking parchment.
Peel and dice your sweet potatoes steam for approximately 10 minutes, leave to cool a little.
Blitz the oats until they are a fine crumb. Add the egg, dates, sweetener, spread, cocoa powder, sweet potatoes and a pinch of salt, blend until thick and smooth.
Pour into the prepared tin, then place on the pear halves slightly pressing them into the mixture.
Place in the oven and bake for approximately 35 minutes.
Leave to cool on a rack, peel away the baking parchment. Cut into 16 pieces or what looks visually the best whole Brownie has 64 syns in total so just divide that number with however many portions you cut it into. Enjoy!
