Chinese Five Spice Pork| Slimming World Inspired
Looking for Slimming World inspiration and coming up with little twists. We have put together this beautiful Chinese style five spice and pork coning in at only HALF a syn per serving. A great addition to the fake-away menu. It is quick and easy to make. Actually I think this might be my Friday night meal best time to start planning is straightaway!
Steps
1 Done | Spray one large and one medium frying pan with Low calorie cooking spray, pop water in saucepan for the rice. |
2 Done | Pop rice into pan and bring to boil, leave to simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked. |
3 Done | Meanwhile pop your vegetables in pan and stir fry for approximately 10 minutes. If you need to add a little water to stop it from sticking then please do so! |
4 Done | Whilst that is softening pop your pork into the other pan and sear off the pork, when it has a little colour, just toss it in the honey and leave to gently cook through. |
5 Done | When your vegetables have softened add the ginger, garlic five spice powder, tomato puree, rice vinegar, light soy sauce, and stock boil until it has thickened up slightly. |
6 Done | Drain and rinse off the boiled rice. Plate up your rice. |
7 Done | Mix your pork into your vegetable five spice mixture and plate up and enjoy the taste and aroma. |
