Slimming Mojo? Myth or Legend?
Well like the saying goes, 'you'll miss it when it's gone' and by gosh it's that true. Some say the illusive slimming mojo can vanish for days, weeks and in some cases even years. Slimming is a doddle when you have the power of mojo, weight drops off you feel confident, light on your feel and that inner glow that only the mojo power can achieve.
Well listen up...
Here are (tried and tested) ways you can reignite your slimming mojo and all hale the weight losses.
Forming new habits
If old habits have slipped back in (or dare I say it never disappeared) start by jotting them down and plan a new habit that will help you take back control.
This is me... Okay so one of my first old habits to slip back in (or away) is lack of food planning, yours might be something else, but I know if I don't meal plan I don't make good choices and it can be a trigger for all types of shenanigans.
A little help from my friend
If you have been in a slimming rut for quite a while and just need a helping hand, why not enlist a slimming buddy, two is better than one and it might just be the support you need. Going it alone is never a easy option.
Sounds deep I know! But let go of the past, your past choices, mistakes and cakes. This can be torturous and continuous self sabotage, not allowing yourself forgiveness will not allow a new positive begining. If your well laid out plans fall my the wayside, move on, if something triggered it, you can learn from it and protect yourself in the future.
Taking an active step is scientifically proven to not only increase fitness but it releases feel good endorphins, so just by increasing your activity by 15 minutes 3 times a week can have a huge impact on your lifestyle choices.
When enough is enough
Like going cold turkey, sometimes a we all need a kick start or a reset. By banishing foods that we know contain high fat & high sugar the foods our body craves can be liberating. The banishment doesn't need to be forever or even too long just long enough for you to feel in control of them again and less that they have control over you. You might be surprised at just how liberating that is and choose to make this a lifestyle choice. After all our cavemen ancestors weren't eating these and they serve no purpose other than to endulge.
